Hey!
I know, I haven't posted since a week at least!
My parents came to visit us from Canada for a week. We had fun! It is so nice when something breaks the monotony of life. Yeah, lucky someone I know who is SPENDING MONTHS TRAVELING IN EUROPE!!! What can be more exciting, really! Dear D., I will not stop telling you how lucky you are! ;)

Back to me. Well, isn't that what a blog is about? When no one listen to you, you create a blog and talk non stop about yourself. Who can stop you? ;)

So, I've got several projects I'm trying to finish. First, husband is trying to find a job somewhere else, a big city I hope (keep fingers crossed!). So we may be moving, or not, during the next two years. If yes, down goes the orange paint in the kitchen! I'm trying to find a color that is more neutral. The house will need to be sold!

So neutral color for kitchen, repainting that living room because the paint looks like an old people appartment (yeah, I chose it.. But I didn't know it will look so OLD!), and a nice color for the master bed and bath. Those rooms are the ones that will sell the house.
So the dilema is to find a color palette that is not too bright, even if I would love it, and not too boring beige, so I can still live in it until we move out!

Who doesn't like free stuff??

I always wanted one of those 'color fan deck'. You know that big collection of paint chip colors. The problem, it can cost up to 40$!!! I'll never pay 40 piastres for "a bunch of colored papers" as says my son. BUT GUESS WHAT?! I got it for f.r.e.e. FREE!

I just went to H.D. and asked to buy one, they said it's not for sale so I can have it free! Can you imagine!

It actually made my day. I know, I'm silly ;)

My style? Let me think..

So! When I tell people I am studying design, the first question that comes is what is my style. My answer? I don't know!

Well, not exactly. I know what I like, obviously. It's a kind of mix. I like Asian, marrocan and vintage accessories. But I would not like to have a complete room designed all asian (too simple) or morrocan (too busy), or vintage (too grandma lol).

I like this:

A fresh citrus kitchen. Personnaly, I will need more warmer splashes of color. Maybe some turquoise ;) Clean kitchen to wish to stay in all day!!

The picture just above is more traditional. I like the warm feel. Need some color, but I love the design of the cabinets! If I could design my own kitchen, I will get really similar cabinets in the same color.

I am more of a classic girl. With a twist. Fun classic... Is it a style?

Introducing... ME!

Hey everyone! Well, actually no one ;)
I am beginning this blog to give me the courage to begin stuff and to finish the others that I didn't. No one is following or reading me yet. But I really hope someone will after some time!

I am considering this as my journal. I'll try to post every couple of days. Maybe more, maybe less. I want this to be on the list of stuff I began and continued.

I want to change the world. I want to do a difference. To do so, I want to make a move on myself first, then on my family, house and then, I'll think bigger!

Let's do it then! Let's change the world one design at a time!!
